Blue Ox Central isn’t just another gaming bar—it’s part of a story that stretches back more than half a century. Inspired by the mythical strength and loyalty of the Blue Ox, our business was originally founded in the 1960s as Blue Ox Nightclub in Minneapolis, created by David Aronsohn. As the family expanded west, so did the brand. In the early 1980s the family brought the Blue Ox legacy to Las Vegas, creating a home for locals who wanted good food, cold drinks, and friendly gaming.
Blue Ox Central opened its doors in 2003 as the fourth official Blue Ox location, and it has remained family owned and operated ever since. We take pride in staying true to what made the Blue Ox legendary—big portions, big heart, and hospitality as strong as the story itself.
